All deliveries of chemicals from PoolStore comply with the government's legislation, namely The Carriage of Dangerous Goods (Classification, Packaging and Labelling) and Use of Transportable Pressure Receptacles Regulations 1996 and The Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road Regulations 1996.
This Legislation covers goods from explosives and radio-active material to hair dye and bleach. Our pool chemicals come very low down on the 'dangerous' scale. However we must, and always do, use special United Nations approved and classified packaging. These boxes are much stronger than ordinary boxes and ensure that your goods will arrive safely and in good condition.
Delivery is FREE on orders over £50.00 otherwise £5.00. Also, because of this, if you order inflatables as well as chemicals there is no delivery charge on the inflatables. When adding goods to the shopping basket you will see delivery charges are added and are clearly visible.
Delivery charges are for delivery to mainland UK addresses. Northern Ireland and the Channel Islands are special cases, please contact us for delivery charges. We can not send chemicals to the Channel Islands or Northern Ireland. We can recommend a very good international freight forwarder for any large items that need sending overseas.
Orders arriving with us by noon (GMT) will usually be despatched on that day and sent either by the courier Business Post on their trackable next day home service or lighter items go by Royal Mail. We can't always guarantee next day service so we say 2 working days to be safe.
